Mrs. Harper gave an interview through her attorney before the licensing hearing.
She admitted the trash incident.
But framed it as “a terrible lapse in judgment under administrative pressure.”
She claimed Principal West told her to make a visual distinction between Ethan and Malik.
She insisted she never intended racial meaning.
She said she believed the goal was to send a message to Michael Morgan.
Then she blamed West.
West blamed Hartwell.
Hartwell blamed rogue individuals.
Michael admitted his own misconduct.
The chain of responsibility became messy.
Ethan watched five minutes of the interview.
Then turned it off.
Daniel asked:
“Too much?”
“No.”
“What?”
“She keeps saying people made her do stuff.”
Ethan looked at his father.
“But she held the bin.”
Simple.
The system mattered.
Pressure mattered.
